与老外写 邮件，千万不能涉及 爱国主义，民族色彩，或者搀杂个人感情。只弄巧成拙。

for me proudness is a different issue.
I can only be proud of facts that I do on my own.
I was born as a German, so I can not be proud to be a German or proud of Germany.
I am proud of my position and I am proud of the company Anna and I started.
But I can not be proud of the olympic record of any athlete - I have sympathy with him,
but being proud of a country is for me bearing the taste of nationalism.
And nationalism is close to looking down on other countries or nations.

Our media is independent, they can write (almost) what they want,
but they are very upset with the fact that the internet in the Olympic Village is censored,
even though it was highly promised that there will be no censorship during the games.
I dont think you are proud of such censorship. I dont think you are proud of the fact,
that in China more people are killed by death penalty then in the rest of the world.
Are you proud that minorities like Tibetans (just one of them) are suppressed,
that their culture is reduced to folcloristic dances at a few touristic spots???

The Olympic games are just a big show to lure people away from the real problems.
I have a lot of sympathy for you Chinese people, I want you to be part of our society.
Therefore you need not only to develop your economy, but your mental and ethic views as well.
I think this process is of a much higher difficulty (then the economical side).

Please do not be mad with me, it is only my personal opinion.
I hope that Chinese athletes win many medals, and that they earn them honestly without doping.
My next order can be placed after the container with the current parts has arrived.
Dont worry, I keep in touch, and I am happy with the way you do your job.
Just dont be stupid and cheer for a big show. I Hope you got my point

不过他个人认为“民族自豪感会使人看不起其他国家或民族”，这个倒是值得学者想想。

做生意最好不要涉及意识形态，因为这个问题太 复杂了。
他显然对中国有偏见，但有些说的倒是事实，我们不要为一个对言论自由的国家感到骄傲。
