How can I lock these prices in for 6 months or 12 months?
Here is how I purchase from my other bronze suppliers:
- I supply a 9 to 12 month forecast, updated monthly.
- Supplier locks and holds pricing for up to 12 months.
- Supplier keeps 4 - 6 weeks forecasted quantity of finished / crated valves on hand ready to ship within 1 week.
- I send supplier a weekly kanban release order based on what we have used.
- Supplier ships within 1 week, FOB China.
- If I make a print change or supplier change, I purchase the 4-6 weeks of safety stock on hand from you.
Please comment on above and advise the next step to finalize.
