阿里上的询盘,要我们的产品,两种规格,每种规格10片;
我心想:好少的数量啊,但有人问总比没人问强,整理好价格,发了过去。
客人回复:谢谢我的报价,但是要先买样品测试质量先,样品每种规格两片,让我报运费过去;
我狂晕,你总共才20片,还要先买4片测试,但还是报了快递费给他参考;
客人回复:
Thank you for your letter. I agree with you and will pay the express charges as you have mentionned.
看他答应的也挺爽快的,就发了样品PI过去,样品费150美金左右,快递费一百多点美金,共两百多美金,因为金额少,我要求全额付款先以减少银行手续费。
结果,客人开始纠结了:
Thank you for your pro-forma invoice. However, do we have to pay in advance all the amount ?
我解释:全额付款是为了减少银行手续费,请他相信我们不会只收钱不发货的。如果他愿意用西联付款,我们可以接受分期付款,50%定金,余款凭快递单付清。(西联汇款不用扣我们手续费)
没想到,客人发飙了:
Thank you for your reply. We do not make any business through Western Union. We pay only through the IBAN or SWIFT
normal bank codes. About the trust we should have to you, it is not a problem. The only problem is that we never pay all the goods in
advance. So, we will order these type of goods to another company. Thank you for your understanding.
看他的意思,就是不愿意用西联汇款,也不想跟我们合作了啊,有木有?他说要下单给其他公司!我也郁闷,才这么点美金,有必要吗?不合作就不合作吧,我还是很客气的回了封邮件:

Ok, I see.

If have any enquiry next time, welcome to contact us.

Have a nice day.
我以为这样就结束了,客人也应该不会回我邮件了,没想到他回了:
Benita,
It was the opportunity to work together. How will you do next time ? We buy many products in many countries and the companies do
not hesitate to send the goods. It means, we won't have a new opportunity because no understanding between you and us.
他这是要怎样啊,是他自己说要下单给其他公司,那我当然回复如果有机会希望下次可以合作啊,哪里错了?
郁闷归郁闷,还是回了封邮件给他:
Dear Abelard:

Maybe there is some misunderstanding between us. In your last email , you said you will order these type of goods to another
company, so I thought you don't want to cooperate with us.

If you still willing to cooperate with us, we'll agree you pay the sample fee 50% in advance, the balance 50% by courier receipt. This is really very special for you, we never agree to any other customer pay twice about sample fee before. But for fairness, the bank charge of depoist is up to you, the bank charge of balance is up to us. If you willing to pay total in advance, the bank charge is up to us.

The sample fee will return to you when receive your formal order.
是不是我的回复写的太复杂了,但我们已经让步了,同意他分两次付款,但总不能都让我们承担银行手续费吧,第一次定金他承担手续费,余款我们这边承担,而且样品费等他下单了是会退还的,又不赚他钱,我们也是亏的啊!
结果,客人:
Thank you for your proposal. But, it is not the first time we order this type of product. We buy it for over 25 years. On monday, I could make an order to a german company. I won't have to pay anything. The german company will sent the invoice to me a few days later after receiving the goods. And I will pay them through IBAN or SWIFT transfert of funds. Why do you want me to make a so complicated way to make business with you ? Our company buy to many countries for over 30 years. I wanted to make a experience with your products. I can buy the same products in Italy, Germany, Swedeen and US without any payment. All these companies know us
for over 25 years. How to start relationship with a chinese company ? It seems to be very difficult.
他这是要怎样啊,看完邮件,我连回复的欲望都没了,这客人也奇,也愿意跟我长篇大论的:Q 感觉他就是不愿意付样品费。以前不愿意付的一般都不会回复邮件,他又有耐心跟我折腾。

johnlin525:不好么我没看出不好的地方只是想说咱中国人做生意的方式跟欧美人做生意的方式实在大相径庭

其实他们那边国家与国家之间做生意 都跟我们国内公司于公司之间做生意 有很多相似之处再加上他们都是守信用的人先货后款的实例很常见 你就得不是跟咱们国内做生意那样很相似吗
当然N多做出口的老板是绝对不接受 国际贸易中用先货后款的
所以你可以坚持自己的立场要先打款过来但是你得注意自己的方式了明显你没有正确引导他还主动提出西联这个很敏感的东东。
别说你这边提出西联就算是客户主动提出西联你都得先想清楚再接受因为很可能他就是在测试你是否是骗子
很悲剧我就这样中招过。后来打电话给那客户竟然都挂我电话不联系了

开心之旅:
一般对方需要样品,是我们出样品,对方付运费,如果你样品运费都要对方承担,给对方感觉你们没有诚意,你觉得他们数量少可以跟对方说你们的起订量的。

貌似他真的担心会不会受骗,但我还是觉得他没诚意,我们的样品也不是小数额,都是几百几百RMB的,要是都免费也吃不消。我已经退一步说让他只付样品费,运费我们承担了。看他今天的回复,他就是要我样品费运费都免费提供给他,算了,不合作就不合作吧。

PS : there is always a risk when starting a business with a company you never see with your eyes.

我之前的客人很爽快的就同意西联付样品费了呀~没那么复杂吧
