It never occurred to me that getting an order from foreign clients is so difficult. I always have the conception that a salesman’s assignment is never more than to give his customer mail, including quotations mail, confirm letter, and payment reminder. With this conception, I sought for open position as salesman. However, when I started to put it into practice, I ran into troubles.
I am a new fish with science bachelor. It is impossible for me to meet the recruiter’s requirement that they prefer graduate with English major and international major. Under this atmosphere, I am determined to utilize my strength—the instinct of enjoying losing face and expressing point of view at a very fast speed. To be disappointed, I can only get a choice to have an interview. Every time I steer clearly of the acute question and blot out my understanding reasonably. When it comes to the last interview, meeting the general manager, I will be picked out as a loser. They will decline me very softly: your attitude and inspirit are admired, however by giving the consideration to your major and no experience, our company could not receive your application or other general manager decline me like this—what a pity that you give up your major. You will have great advantage if you seek a job related your subject. Damn!
After losing heart due to denying by my target-company time by time, I am so hurt and think I will be turned down all the time and I have to study further as a third-class postgraduate. Which way should I choose? It is the first time that I have to give a consideration to my road of future. When I face the ice reality of job market and my relatives’ subjection on further study, I retreat bit by bit and want to shelter myself as a post-graduate for three years. At that time I fall to know during your life, there are many times that you have to choose, although the alternative roads are not what you expect. Which one you choose eventually, it brings pains to you.
I have determined to transform my identity and register certification. I go back to the job-market, after briefly communicating and oral English test, I am informed that I am qualified to get that post. And general manager and international department manager wants me to visit his factory that afternoon. I am so shocked about this interview, no one doubt my major and no experience. I stayed in sjz for another 2 or 3 days. Because I need to say good bye to a circle of friends here .
first day I come here, the international department of a small metal wire mesh company,
I begin my work, only post new products and trade leadings on the B2B websites. I register a great number of account and post offerings. Everyday what I should do is post information on goods a website after another. It is so dull, is not it ?

i failed to enter into organic chemistry ofnku, but accepted by a provice unversity. and i dont like to be confined in the lab all day.
i think trade circle can provide me choices to travel around. that is all. thx

everyday, i face a computer and post new products and trade leading over again and again. i am confined in the office, i dont like such sort of way to work, i would like to take part in international fair. theni can learn more ! that is what i expect. i am the person who willbe disappointedif i get nothing (not for the commision or something like that, for progress!).

运气差一点的，接着是沮丧，失望，或者绝望。
有些人离开，有些人会坚持。不过，做外贸，特别是一个外贸业务员，如果你运气不是特别好，我不得不强调运气。运气对于一个业务员来说非常重要，当然如果完全指望它也是不现实的。
所以，如果你运气不是特别好，你要能忍受得住寂寞与枯燥。
如果你觉得你没有这个耐心和毅力，个人奉劝你一句，尽早离开。
因为，如果当你坚持不下去的时候再离开这个行业，你损失的不仅仅是时间和青春，更为可怕的是，你将失掉自信和方向。

个人建议你去外贸新人栏里下载点资料看看，里面也有很多对新人的建议。
现在外贸不好做，所以起步就更难了。但是，这是一个必须的过程，就像走路一样。
等你做了一年之后你再回顾这段痛苦的过程，你会发现，这是一笔人生道路上的财富，它教会你坚强与忍耐还有信心。
有时，我们也会经常感叹，哥做的不是外贸，哥做的是寂寞。
外贸，并不是一件很热闹的事。没单的时候，孤独寂寞。有单的时候，很多烦心的事。
生活也是这样，并不能事事如意，重要的是调节自己的心态。
我曾经的简历上写着：如果能改变环境，就让环境变得更好。如果不能，就让自己变的更好。如果二者都不能，就学会咬牙坚持。
我觉得对于你，有必要在后面再加上一去，如果你不热爱这一行，请你尽早离开。
或许我说的有些那个，请勿介怀。

谢谢您，我不会心存芥蒂对任何人的话，我正在尝试着去接受。我不害怕寂寞、也不害怕孤独。但是我害怕在日复一日的等待中失掉自己。现在自从做了外贸后，英语水平下降了很多。
我会记住你说的话。正像昨天跟客户吃饭时我评价他说的一句“您说的90%的是对的。10%的我还不知道对不对，因为是新人，没经历过”
