我是从2010年的8月9日开始上班做外贸。刚开始的一个星期还没有平台。一星期后开了MADE IN CHINA 给我。
一个月过去,没单!:L 愁愁愁。但是收到的询盘不多。一个星期最多3个。再加上没技巧。结果都拿不到手。全给人抢去了。
我的第一个客户历程:
省去报价部分。
Dear Ms. Chin,
I really want to do business with you.
Can you please get me a discount on the shipping?
We really need to satisfy our budget limitation.
Also, how soon can you send a picture of the sample carrying our business information and logo?

客人说,很好跟我们做生意,问有没有折扣。他要满足他的预算。
这是我们的回信。老板说运费至少250美金。海运的话数量达不到更贵。

If you have other goods to shipping by sea will be cheap. But if only 3000 pcs shipping by sea will be more cost.
The cost shipping by sea at least $250, we have checked.

然后,客人同意了,让我发PI.当时可乐了。;P 笑的可高兴了。但是没几天就变卦了。

Another factory offered me 0.06 off to $0.14 per lanyard.

看完这封信,心里想完了。去问老板,老板说这个价做不了。我只能告诉客人,我们要保证质量。他们做的质量差。
Omar, $ 0.2 is our cost price, lower price can't purchase raw material. If other factory can do lower price, they will send you rubbish, this you can't sell out.
We can't do lower price, because we need to protect quality.If we send rubbish at this so competitive price, we will lose our customer.
庆幸,客人又让我发order了。

Prepare an order form and a final invoice and tell me what we need to place the order.
I need a guarantee that all lanyards will be qood quality and non of them will be rubbish.

但是客人又一次的跑掉了。而且好久不见他邮件。单子跑了。跑了。别的厂0.14就卖了。我想是没有了。还有封邮件我没找到。客人说谢谢我准备了PI,给他。但是他跟别人买了。
日子一天天的过,直到有一天,老板说你去问问,这个客人的单子做的怎么样了。我发了下面的邮件给他。

然后付款,打样。做大货。在出货前还被客人骂了。说要投诉我们。

客人要货。但是样品打了很久,客人没给到AI格式。给的JPG不清楚,然后又重打。时间耽误了很多。但是我们做货真是出奇的快。三天就做好,打包装箱。发快递。

This is a very serious matter. I can go back to Ali Baba who charged my visa and show him a copy of the receipt which shows Lanyards must be received before 11/1/2010 and let him cancel the visa charge.
The lanyards are still in HONG KONG.
但是快递很慢。客人费用压到很低。只能转寄。时间要长。
经过几番催促DHL快递。终于及时到货。那两天真是难熬啊!吃饭都在愁!
但是一切顺利,还得到了客人的表扬!

Please keep us in your email and send us your frequent catalog if you have one.
We did order the posters locally. They costed us $135. If you can send us a sample of the material you actually use for posters, it would be very nice. The posters we ordered have also arrived today. They are nice too.
Once again, thanks a lot, that we did received the lanyards on time and were able to distribute them to our customer before they travel this week. Believe me I did not think at all that we could receive them today. Because yesterday, late at night, we checked the tracking number and they were still in Hong Kong.
