I am a senior but have already been working about 3 months . During these time, I became an assistant whommainly dealing with the business of Home Depot, the largest client of my company . Started two months I did really learn so many things and evenin charge of documentary work of Home Depot now. But it seems a little boringcoz the Home Depot business is a repetitive job. Thanks to the highly E-commerce applications, the process of international trade with Home Depot is too stardard and so different from the common foreign trade.
In one word , I took 3 months just learning how to trade with Home Depot ! And my colleagues told me maybe I would still be in charge of documentary work of HD in the next 6 months just coz this was no plan to let me do a account executive job from my manager's decision
I am a boy who dreams to be a salesman to do business with foreign clients. To do as a documentary secretary for 1 year is too long to bear! My major in college is International Trade!
Of couse I know the reason why I can not be a salesman is I am still a college student untill July. Few companies would let a unstable young man to deal in business. But 1 year is too long for me.What should I do next~Changing another job which will let me do as a account executive or I amjust too impatient.
Should I talk with my manager or send a email in smooth manner to state my standingI can do more than a documentary secretary ?

I graduated last july, but i am still a documentary secretary asi changed my job twice. i have to learn from begining.

I'm afraid that you maybe not prepare well,so my suggestion is learn more things as an documentary and do things good,when your colleagues need help,you can do them favor.
Your manager know your ability better throught the things which you've finished.

Maybe some ones call me A, and maybe some ones call me B, but I am sure that I am C. A and B are just names they call
me, or the names they give me, so I do not care them. In my heart, I know it clearly that I am C.

From my point of view,you could learn more either as a salesman or a documentary secretary.
As a student during your practice term,you had better insist on your work at present.
