Dear Sir,
Gabon Oil Company is the national company operating in upstream Oil & Gas in Gabon. For the growth of his activities, we discussed internally about the oil transfer to an existing Tank in a neighboring field.
The following situation.
? Tank is in operation with a height of some 10 to 12 meters.
? Oil Grade is API 35. Up to 3 ppm H2S. Oil analysis
? Inlet via a 6” existing line at the bottom of the tank. One Valve is existing. -> Hook up point.
? Piping of some 50 m and safety installations (valves, flap valve….) to be done.
? Intersection point between fixed installation and flexible hose to be defined (we will most probably go for unloading arms)
? Transport via Tank trailers is planned.
? Due to weight restriction the tank trailers will not be equipped with pumps.
? Metering is via Weight Bridge.
? Minimum Installation to be done as we are in a plant of another operator.
? Tractor head is available for 24 hours at this plant (will be bought new).
Our Ideas:
? Pump mounted onto tractor head (restriction in size and most probably only one Pump is possible)
? Pump skid mounted (redundant -> 2 pumps) at the yard of unloading and driven by hydraulic of the truck
? Pump skid mounted (redundant -> 2 pumps) at the yard of unloading and driven by direct diesel power
? Pump skid mounted (redundant -> 2 pumps) at the yard of unloading and driven by electrical power and a separate power generator set.
We want to keep the system as simple and reliable as possible.
Any suggestions or solutions you could think off.
