2007-12-14 15:47 After a long long time waiting, i received the refuse letter of KPMG at last.
Throw my thought to three months ago; KPMG convened a meeting of inviting applications in our university. This is also my first time to attend such meeting. As the weather is quit hot, in the crowded room without a seat, I even feel I will dead soon.
The meeting was lasted two hours. Then I was told to attend exam tomorrow .At that time ,I even not know what a company KPMG is .In my mind ,the famous public accounting firms are DTT and EY.Though they attract me ,but I thought it unrealistic for me .
Without any preparations i attended this exam and then start a long waiting.About a month later,i received the email of kpmg ,i passed the exam .Until this time ,i haved knowed that kpmg is a firm that even better then DTT.And the Percentage of passed this exam is less than 10%.I am so lucky to become a member of this 10%!
After Applications,i started a waiting again .It costed me two month.i received the first interview invitation at 9/11.i even sleeplessness that night .
That is my second time to beijing .the first one can be traced back to 13 years ago.i feel no nervous,for most time of me is spended on exam of public official,i even have no preparation.i don't think i could pass the interview,i only want to increase interview experiences.
kpmg beijing is located at the plaza of Orient ,quit near of the beijing station. the manager is a young lady ,quit beautyful. the interview lasted half an hour ,she smiled at me all the time .i feel it only a chat.The manager give me a vert nice feelings,but i think i did not give her .i can' t answer many questions of her ,even as "do you know what the public accounting firms'work?"
Out of the office,i feel a little disappointed.After a closed touch with KPMG, i have falled in love with it .it like the firm and want to work there.but i know i may lose the opportunity.
When i was waiting for the message ,kpmg convened a party in kempinski hotels.This is my first time to such famous hotel. at the party ,i recieved a big as a gift ,it make me feel the care of kpmg.i love it more.
To my surprise,i pass the first interview.i can't trust myself.i also can't express my appreciation for the manager and kpmg . i am in a mediocre university .even in such university ,i am not a excellence student. kpmg give me such a nice opportunity,i don't know how to say and say what . i just think, if KPMG employ me , i would try my best to work to pay back it trust.
The second interview was scheduled to the next day.i am not only have no time to prepared,but also must give up the interview of the Bureau of Finance.for KPMG,i think it's worthy.
I was told that passed the second interview is not so hard .and the partner is a chinese man ,so ,i can speak chinese .That day was quit a nice day ,the same nice firm . the same nice partner ,but he requests me to speak english only .i feel very nerous .and can't say well, i admit that my english is poor.with a minute silent , he speak " 好,那我们用中文说吧"
we talk about 40 minutes , i think it's a nice chat .but the english make me unbearable . i regreted not ask another chance to talk with english ,i trust i can .but that is life .you will not have a chance to choose again for ever .
Today i received the refused letter.and must saygoodbye to KPMG.i can't express my sad mind.i only want to say i love you KPMG !And thank you for giving me such a beautyful experience.
i know what to do after now.

Years ago I was shut out by DTT company, and now, I still alive, thankful about the opportunity it gave me to entering into another path of life.
Doors will always be open for the well-prepared and determinated person, just remember to cherish what you have and think good about the future, all will be fine.
