漂泊的奋斗者：Keeping calm in the face of reality
Under the clear and blue sky, slight wind blows the lake surface as softly as mother’s hands touch kids, bringing pieces of small waves. In the sky, a group of birds are flying freely, sometimes chasing companions happily, sometimes lining kinds of beautiful drawings, sometimes striving towards the higher sky. Among them, it seems that there is no trouble in their life. We—Human Being envy their freedom. As a matter of fact, as long as we try to keep our hearts calm when facing anything, we can also be as free and happy as birds. Unfortunately we are easily prone to impulse. Wealth, position, power…… are occupying our whole heart space. Yes, we are enjoying material wealth the industry revolutions have brought, but we are losing pure land of life to a larger extent. Indeed, we are so flexible in society that we can always treat ourselves “extremely well”.
“As well known, if we do not do like that, are we very foolish?”, someone asks me pretty confidently. On hearing that, my soul is shocked suddenly. In the face of money, power and position, neither can we keep calm nor give up? Certainly we have no choice but to struggle for our future harder and harder. Perhaps it is that Lord bestows the privilege. Accepting it saintly shows respect for our Lord; Refusing it is a sin. Now that we have spiritual support and greed for superiority, undoubtedly it is reasonable enough for us to satisfy our basic requirements. Original calmness is cruelly bitten by realistic impulse for money, power and position……
Waves can keep calm because they can sincerely treat the world without benefit conflict; Birds can keep calm because they can sympathetically treat companions. However, we are under control of selfishness and self benefit. We have much difficulty in breaking away from the reality.
Ironically, someone exaggerates that he is always keeping calm when facing any induction! Once there are abundant profits and huge benefits, he is always attempting to grad all profits and benefits at any cost of others’. Wherever and however he can snatch all even though it is illegal. Nothing is important except his own satisfaction. So he can dare to break his heart calmness, dare to venture for money, power and position however dangerous it is! Even someone often disguises as a noble man, a just man and a loyal man for people, but lies can not escape from people’s bright eyes! History is bound to abandon such a kind of man at last!
Calmness should be embedded in our hearts for ever! In front of money, power and position……we should keep calm and use our own rational heads. In doing so, it is no doubt that we can enjoy real freedom and happiness like birds!
Keeping pure land, while walking into society; Respecting others, while satisfying ourselves; Safeguarding nation’s benefit and dignity, while attaining our own goals……
