创华贸易：您好，unless your instructions to the contrary is received by us prior to such acceptance/payment 意思是，除非在放单给申请人之前收到受益人的相反指示（比如要求退单）。
acceptance/payment里的acceptance是接受不符点的意思，payment是付款的意思。因为如果是远期信用证，申请人是到期付款的，而不是马上付款的， 所以就不可能是付款了才赎单，而是先赎单，然后到期付款。
以上条款都是正常条款， 且有国际惯例支持的：
Article 16 Discrepant Documents, Waiver and Notice
第十六条 不符单据及不符点的放弃与通知
c. When nominated bank acting on its nomination, a confirming bank, if any, or the issuing bank decides to refuse to honor or negotiate, it must give a single notice to that effect to the presenter.
c. 当按照指定行事的被指定银行、保兑行（如有）或开证行决定拒绝兑付或议付时，必须一次性通知提示人。
The notice must state:

I. that the bank is refusing to honor or negotiate; and
