国家环境保护局（nationalenvironmental Protection Agency）将大部分用于消毒和驱虫的产品或任何其他被宣布为抗病毒、抗真菌、抗菌或其他杀虫剂的产品分类为杀虫剂或杀虫剂设备。
由于关键词中的相关词语被判定为与农药有关，许多非农药产品的销售商因无法提供相关证明而被下架。
与杀虫剂有关的常见敏感词有：
1.紫外线、除尘、发声器、水或空气处理装置、地面振动器和任何与防虫有关的词语。
2.用于任何有害生物的术语“预防、消灭、驱逐或减缓”，或用于表示“抗菌剂、抗真菌剂、抗菌剂或杀虫剂”。
3.含有抗真菌、抗菌剂或其他杀虫剂的产品，包括销售消毒、病虫害防治、过敏原消除和细菌预防的产品。
4.“安全”、“无害”、“无毒”或“纯天然”对农药或其他成分安全的表达也包括优质聚氯乙烯、卫生、环保、防滑、耐热、易清洗、耐磨、防腐剂等。
宗教相关
亚马逊一直非常严格地控制与宗教和宗教元素相关的产品。
不要在产品上印宗教元素。另外，一旦出现十字架、基督教、奴隶制等敏感词汇，就会从亚马逊的货架上删除。
与毒品有关
常见的关键词包括古柯叶、夏威夷婴儿Wodrose种子、鼠尾草DivinorumDEA药物和印度野生麻制品。病毒、细菌等敏感词被添加到一些敏感属性中。
