i know him (one of my customer from Holland) at mould exhibition about half a year ago ,after he back i have send him servalmails but no response , then i called him ,hehe .phone is really a good thing .he told me very kindly and said he would be in Shenzhen one month later and he would like tovisit our factory .so happy .so delighted .because he is my first customer who visit our factory.my mood was really beyond description ..he was satisfied with us after visited and our boss said he would be my big customer and asked me to treat him with great care .meanwhile in order to express our sincerity ,myboss drive him to tea house and send two kilos for him and his wife .we established a good relations after he back .and he also gave me some RFQ always said let's hope to get order together .(PS:his payment terms is really strict ,he told me if we want to do business with him ,wehave toaccept his payment terms ,but our boss do not agreed ,cuase for mould business T/T is the preferable terms for both mutual benefit ,but he said by L/C ) anyway i full of hope at that time, I missed one thing for the quotation , i noticed and gave him a call for apologize and explain .he said "it's okay .Shirley ,never mind , i do not care " he told me with laughing ,and asked me when i would goback for new year's festival .i know his is kind .and do not angry with me ,i am so happy for such good customer .

shirley-haiyan:but with time goes by ,his RFQ is less and less ,i do not see him online for long time ,and i send him mails and message but all no response , i was doubt that whether he is still angry for my last fault , i got the answer until last night ,i told him with my great sincere ,and see whether he still angry with me so that he do not even send me RFQ , he said "no, i just on my business trip ,and i have 4moulds in China now ,is 1300 tons ,too big for you to make " and he told me he will be in China at the end of this month ,i do not know that whetheri can meet him or not ,he send me RFQ this moring ,hope this RFQ can make a good connection between him and me . anyway i have to thanks to him ,no matter what result will be he is a nice guy .,.i am in hot water now ,if we do business ,payment is tough question . is itpossible for us to make any transaction in the future ..i am waiting for all answers from FOB Shanghai .thanks for all you .

L/C is common in I/E process, a easy L/C is accpectable for most supplier. Maybe your client intent to test your quality first time.
Try to persuade him accpect partial deposite by T/T,and balance by L/C. tell him you need production cost anyway.
Persuade your boss and persuade your clients, only on the basis that your quality is durable :$fyr only~
